1. Do not refill close to a naked flame or source of ignition 2. Only fill butane for gas lighter 3. Hold the gas refill vertically with the valve pointing downwards and push into the lighter fill value for about 10 seconds 4. Generally, refill before the lighter is empty. 5. Wait several minutes before igniting.
